I have had the r4000 and 400w solar panel kit for 2 yrs now. Power station is ok. Bluetooth is useless beyond about 15 ft. Solar is really poor...luck if I get 180w with a clear sky and midday. Cant find an up to date app for here in Canada. Tried to find a firmware upgrade but good luck.

Not having all the charge cables is a nuisance. Dealing with an aus website but charged a currency fee that was not disclosed not overly happy extra fee would have almost paid for the eco flow unit

I've bought my R4000 to back up my home, ie charge during day when electricity's off-peak-cheap and use it at night when it's at-peak-expensive, and to power an outside workshop with a 3D printer. It's also the go-anywhere-with-me powered campsite. It's too big and heavy for me to lift into the back of my car single-handed, but I can run it up a loading ramp alone because of its trundle wheels and extender handle. ATM I've only got 400W portable PV charge capacity, need to go bigger to take full advantage of portable vacations off grid....Black Friday deal convinced me to jump at it!

Great it delivered as expected! I had to purchase the car charge cord separately but it was worth it ......... With the solar recharge and car charge option we able to last the weekend at Bathurst 1000 no problem. We ran a TV and Apple TV and recharge our phones at the same time. We have been using the Powerstation daily for 4 months now. Every morning, the solar panels are set up in the garden and connected to the powerstation on the terrace about 10m from us via 2 extension cables. In the afternoon, they are taken down again and the solar panels are put away. We then move the powerstation into the kitchen and connect everything we need until the evening, such as the coffee machine, kettle, contact grill, hot air fryer, washing machine, vacuum cleaner... Not all at once, but one at a time until the charge is slightly below 50%. Then we switch it off. We save the remaining 50% for possible power outages during the night. The solar panels charge at about 430W in strong direct sunlight, dropping to 320W in clouds, fog or shadows and anything in between. Very, very simple to operate. It can also be set up or taken down. My wife really likes the device and is very excited. She even plugged in her sewing machine. This saves us a little grid electricity every day and we have great experience using the device during power outages. We were also very excited about the support from the company "Allpowers". We had a malfunction with our unit - the charging of the solar panel was interrupted from time to time and you had to unplug and reconnect the charging cable. No big deal, but of course we reported it to Allpowers via email. Within a week, we received a new power station from the company's central warehouse in Australia. We sent the old power station back to the central warehouse at Allpowers' expense. What more do you want! First R4000!
